The screen / display on which we intend to input data in the Network Cost Matrix Analysis is accessible via the Network Access Time Analysis of the window, architect. A network is developed as indicated in the input to develop this work flow and although spatial data source is required, add spatial reference must be placed as output. As a result, the length between the points selected (unit thereof is meter) and shift time (unit thereof is minute) would be indicated on the table.

Operator Name: Network Cost Matrix Analysis

Operator Provider: Network Analysis Operators

Explanation: By finding the shortcuts between the points provided, it records the starting – ending points length – duration information on the table.

Inputs:

  • topological network
  • Points to be analyzed : Relevant points would be selected and provided accordingly. These points may be retrieved from the spatial data resource operator. The shortcuts which are found between these points would be added to the table of results.
  • Cost macro : Cost would be found out from this macro as the Shortcut Analysis is carried out.
  • Speed macro : This macro must be uniform in order to be able to write periods in the results. In the event that it is not intended to have periods written, then, this macro may be skipped by leaving it blank. In this case, the period columns would be blank on the table of results.

Output:

  • Resulting Geometry : Shortcut geometry
  • OBJECTID : Unique value
  • SourceID : In the event that the starting point is from the Database of points, then, it is the pyramid information of the point; in cases where points are CAD, then, it is the name of the point.
  • DestinationID : In the event that the ending point is from the Database of points, then, it is the pyramid information of the point; in cases where points are CAD, then, it is the name of the point.
  • DistanceMeter : It is the geometric length and in terms of meters.
  • DurarationMinute : It is the shift time of the line and its unit is minute.

Note: In cases where the shortcut between the two points provided could not be found, then, the analysis which has been made between these points would not be saved on the table.
