Draw Cross Section

Cross sections are created by referring to the surfaces created by EXCANET (triangle model). 

For multiple excavation basins cross sections can be created at the same time using the axis lines in the KPCROSSSECTION layer. 

Cross Section Parameters

Cross Section Range

It refers to the cross-sectional area to be created on the axis regardless of other parameters. 

By making the option inactive, cross sections can be obtained only from the detail or from the points where the triangle model is cut.

Sampling IntervalThis option is activated so that it can be read in dimensional drawing with constant sampling interval starting from the axis.
At Points Where Triangle Model is Cut

This option is activated for reading from the triangular cut edge of the cross section line. 

Except for special cases, this feature ensures that the cross sections are formed correctly.
Automatically Calculate Widths

If this option is active; the widths will be automatically calculated by the module. Extra distance to right and left can be entered.

If this option is inactive; the widths are entered to the right and left by the user.
At Floor Area Fault ProjectionIt allows the cross section to be taken at the points where the excavation baseline breaks and where the axis intersects with excavation plan lines.
At Axis Line PointsIt allows the cross section to be taken from all points the axis intersects with the terrain model.
At Fault ProjectionsIt provides a cross section in the projections of all points that are broken by the line and multiple straight lines in the selected layer.
Point Intersecting wih the AxisIt provides a cross section perpendicular to the axis from all points where the lines and multilines of the selected layer intersect with the axis.
Write KSEIn order to store the cross sections which will be formed as KSE files, the directory is determined from this section, and KSE files are automatically created in the determined sequence when the cross sections are generated.
PreviewIt allows the cross-section plan to be displayed on the graph according to the parameters entered.

Surfaces

It is the editor that selects the surfaces to be cross-sectioned. 

It places the surface definitions on TRIANGLE_MODEL layer automatically under LAND MODEL name. 

The surfaces produced by the EXCANET module and located in layers beginning with KP are automatically placed under the APPLICATION SURFACE name. 

The minimum land elevation on the line that is taken on the cross section is automatically placed under the name of ZERO ELEVATION. 

Except for these automatic surface definitions, all the layers that contain triangular models in the project are placed in the surfaces tab with their names. 

Automatically formed surfaces can be customized as desired.

CAD cross-sections can be cross-sectioned with raster format data containing height information, with no extra processing required. 

These raster data can also be selected in the surfaces interface.

Add Surface

Surface Name; is the name of the added surface. 

Fixed elevation; this feature is used if you want to add a new surface with a fixed elevation. 

Layer; is used if the newly created surface will be referenced from the triangular models in the project. Multiple layers can be selected.

Move UpMoves the selected surface up.
Move DownMoves the selected surface down.
Delete SurfaceDeletes the selected surface.
Properties

Surface Name is the name of the surface, of which the properties inquiried. 

Fixed elevation; this feature is used if you want to add a new surface with a fixed elevation. 

Layer; is used if the newly created surface will be referenced from the triangular models in the project. Multiple layers can be selected.

Once the parameters have been defined, the cross-sections are drawn on the graph screen with the Cross Section Drawer (?).
