Netigma Terms

Icon

Every software- low code, full code, no code- has its own terms say jargon. This section describes the general terms about Netigma management interfaces that users need to know. This page can be helpful, if/when you are having difficulty to understand the NETIGMA Guides.

Terms
 Metadata

The database management, query pages, information cards, report definitions created as a result of the identification with the Management Interfaces are called "Metadata". These interfaces are called metadata interfaces or meta-interfaces.

 Object

When the tables in the database are introduced to Netigma or when new tables are created with Netigma, they become Netigma "Object". The management of these tables is done through object management interfaces (such as Object List, Object Relation List). The columns of the tables are listed in "Column List".

 Object Relations

In Netigma interfaces (query, report, info card, etc.), objects can be interrogated, reported, related information can be accessed in relation to each other. For example, by defining the relationship between the provincial and the county objects, it is possible to carry out such processes as "bring the provinces with the cities" or list the related provinces on the provincial information card.

Netigma manages its own relationship structure as a separate layer on relationships between database tables. It is also possible to create and use relationships in Netigma for tables that have no relationship defined in the database.

 Data Field

Data fields are the attributes(data columns) of the Netigma object. Within Netigma Column List Interface, you can edit data fields as defining their properties or add new ones.

 Form / Information Card

The interfaces on which data are displayed, edited; new data entered are called Information Cards or Info Forms.

 Query

It is the interface where the data is queried, such as statistical report, graphical report, thematic map. The columns to be listed in the query criteria and the query result can be defined by default, and the end user can specify the columns according to his / her wish. Query criteria can be saved as template for quick access.

 Statistical Report

In NETIGMA queries, you can use the values obtained from aggregate functions (number, total, maximum, minimum, etc.) for data of related tables. (example, average happiness scores of countries, minium generosity)

 Query Page

There can be many queries or user templates created with different criteria for an object. Query pages are used to aggregate these queries. The query page opens from the menu, listing the queries and templates created on the left side of the query page.

 Report

Reports can be added to the objects of the netigma. The report can be a related text or a page with multiple queries. Expert of the related data, can create a template with the Report Design Tool and drag-n-drop object columns into the appropriate areas of the template. Report Design Tool generates a template in HTML format, other HTML editor software or documents created in word processors such as MS Word can be easily transferred.

 Home page

The page opened when users enter the system has the dashboard capability and can be designed by System Administrator or end user. In webpart supported homepage: Query results, pivot tables, graphical reports, interactive charts, as well as data from external sources that provide RSS support, can be displayed.

 AuthenticationServer

Authantication Server is an application comes with NETIGMA Bundle, that manages users, user groups and authorities. It can be easily integrated with other applications via LDAP (Active Directory, etc.) support and web service model. It is placed in Applications/System:

 LogServer

The Log Server is an application that integrates with Netigma and records operations such as entry to the system, possible errors, data updates. Service support also allows the use of non-Netigma applications running in the enterprise. In this way, all transactions are kept and monitored in one source.  It is placed in TrackLogs/System:

 StateServer

The Process Manager is an application in which the organizational business processes can be defined, the process steps (situation), the events that determine the transitions between the states, and which roles / users to process in each case. Netigma is integrated with Process Manager. You can manipulate the operations on objects by defining one or more processes for each object in Netigma.

 ParameterServer

It is a server application where Netigma's general parameters are kept. It also allows to manage the parameters of services and other applications used in institutions from a single point.

 Scheduler

The Tariff Manager is an application that can determine jobs and transactions. Working in conjunction with Process Manager and Netigma, you can perform operations such as "update the record after 3 months of the following step / bring the process to / send the person e-mail".

 Thematic Map

Netigma can display query results thematically on the map with NetgisServer Map Server support. Geographic objects such as country, province, county can be presented with different color, scan, line type according to query result values (import quantity, number of facilities, parcel area, number of applications,
