Point and Object Selection

Point and Object Selection menu is the menu where mouse operation settings can be made.

Mouse Keys Behavior

OptionExplanation
Repeat Last Left Key OperationWhen the last operation is to be repeated, clicking left mouse button without reentering the operation will be sufficient. For example, after Enlarge Window (Zoom) operation, zoom operation can be performed sequentially without reentering the operation by clicking left mouse button.
Right Mouse ButtonTwo options are available. If "Right Click Opens Popup Menu" is selected, right mouse button always opens Netcad Toolbars popup menu. If "Finish Operation" is selected, right mouse button terminates the process.
Right Button Popup MenuThe menu that will be displayed in Netcad screen as Right button popup menu is selected. The popup menu desired to view is selected from the list. If "None" is selected, no popup menu appears. For example, if the Coordinate Calculator is selected, all icons in the Coordinate Calculator are displayed.

Elevation (Z) Calculation

When Point is selected with Netcad Point Selection Tool (?), elevation (Z) is also calculated. If a point or a line is not captured, interpolation takes place.

When activated, if you are working on land model (triangle model), elevations of created lines, polylines, splines and points will be automatically calculated.

Calculate Elevation from Points Radius

When elevation is calculated from points, points within the radius given here are interpolated. For example, if there is no elevated point in the area with 100 m radius around a point, no elevation will be generated for this point.

Zoom In/Zoom Out factor (>1) %It is the zoom in-zoom out ratio for each movement in the zoom in/zoom out operations on the screen.
Cursor Size (pixel)Pixel size of the cursor used in Point and Object Selection.
Cursor ThicknessPixel thickness of the cursor used in Point and Object Selection.
Detail Display Criterion (pixel)It is not possible to see Text, Line Types and some other details from a distance. Netcad draws them simpler from a distance for performance. This criterion determines which stage the simplification will start.
